I'm Not Drank
03:48
|

Tomorrow morn I know well have a problem
but right now I just need a drink
its 10pm and I'm not done god damn drinking
I ain't go fucking home
so let's steal a sign, don't need a reason why
lets saddle up and call another round
so let and dance and sing, it doesn't a mean thing
I don't have a plan to head on home tonight
4 rounds of darts and I think I missed the wall
I pissed off my ex-girlfriend with a call ( noah ass hole voice)
its 1 am and I'm not done god damn drinking
I ain't go fucking home
so fuck that sign, and now its mine
so lets saddle up and call another round
so let and dance and sing, it doesn't a mean thing
I don't have a plan to head on home tonight
my friends and gone and now the bar is closed
so I'm breaking in and I'm taking off my clothes
its 3 am and I'm not done god damn drinking
I ain't go fucking home
wait where's my sign, god damn its mine
I swear to god I'll find another round
so let and dance and sing, it doesn't a mean thing
I don't have a plan to head on home tonight

A man once told me, the universe is sound, never sitting in one quite place, its always spinning around.
He said the sky, it is beauty. That we were meant to see, it occupies the present space where we are meant to dream
So every once and a while, I think that we forget. The days we are living now, will soon be gone and spent.
I think we rarely listen, we like to talk much more, about tv show and politics, we later will regret
So every star bound sailor, and every astronaut. The humming that the universe, is calling on and off.
With every city skyline, I hate to see the news, I much prefer those mountain lines, too long hard pavements walks

The Wild & The Rumpus

|

so newsman , newsman , don’t tell me what to think
I got mind full of ideas and I don’t need god damn shrink
don't preach me about the past, or how it used to me
were done with going your way, won’t you wait around and see
so back at my home, oh where I grew up
We didn’t need to know the odd, we made our own damn luck
so I'm living and I'm learning and don't tell me its a lie
I'm too busy living, I'm never gonna die
from the wild and the rumpus that crash like wave and wall
away from all the intellects who don't know me at all
we stop the world a spinning, and give the poets pens
its time to tell a story now, lets rambling soon begin
So up on this hill, I go and make my stand
I don't care people say, It ain't words that make the man
if its one thing that your learning, your minds your only trial
get filled with blood and vigor, while the juries in denial

The American Dream
04:10
|
|||
well boy it's kinda funny, the aptitude and all
sometimes it just a burden to live like that at all
but sometime, sometime….it feels just right
so perhaps Richard Nixon, or Marylyn Monroe
or all those names in history that seem to make it flow…….but then you see, then you see, now ain't that right
so bye bye bye Miss America, well meet another day, another time
well I’m off to meet the country, and find my myself a dame
get locked up in the mountains and drive myself insane
so go and find a railroad, skip and jump line
but ain't nobody running that since 1969
so he calls, he calls, he calls ......he calls. he calls it off
so it times its rather sickening
what do and dare you to say
your eyes will roll in disbelief, from thoughts of yesterday
So don't you move, don't you stand. Stay right here and be a man.

Day At The Races
02:41
|
|||
I wanna do anything other than dream
Cause I know who'll be there
Waiting for me
It just tortures my mind, body, and soul
But admitting it now is uncomfortable
It's not like we had some passionate love
far from it in fact
just chance and boredom
But I've overthought it at least 1000 times
A day at the races
And my mind's first in line
Sitting at home waiting for word
But that word never came
I'm still hopeful it could
Was it something I said or I didn't do?
To bring forth this silent
Seclusion from you
Logic would say that you're just busy
But emotion trumps reason
Illogically
And I know I shouldn't care I know it's silly
But simply not-knowing
Is killing me

Waltz (Live)
02:43
|

When I was just young boy, my daddy told me son, best to keep your head straight, no need for anyone
No girl or gal, or cigarette can tell you boy just when your spend, but my oh my, how did she move
Lonesome girl, lonesome girl won’t you dance with me.
You ain't got nowhere to go, I ain't got nowhere to be.
Lonesome girl, lonesome girl tell me whats your name.
don’t just sit their lonesome, oh won’t you waltz with me.
Ball room gowns and mural walls and blaring trumpeters, smoking pipes like cherried guns with Shakespeare amateurs.
Masquerading thought by thought. Less did she desire, stowed away with rolling eyes, disguised by her attire
Went on up to get some air, we climbing on the roof, yelling at pedestrians, and howling at the moon.
When buzzer sound and gone too far and fuzz are on the way, laugh it off and climb on down, and join the big parade

where the wild things they were, I shouldn’t say, I never heard, I'm betting off saying I'm insane
and though the wild things we were, we never talked, we never learned, we never moved, the world stood still
hit the engine, raise the sail, man the helm and move, I'm coming home
hit the engine , raise the sail, man the helm and move, I’m coming home
